Receiving unwanted calls from our numbers?
We provide thousands of numbers to thousands of organisations - from large corporate customer to charities, from Local to Central Government, call centres to support companies.
We only offer inbound numbers such as 08 type numbers and applications to make inbound applications work for our customers. We do not engage in outbound calling (cold calling), use national number databases, or offer any type of service associated with outbound calling (PPI, Personal Injury etc). We stick to what we are good at - numbers. If you receive a call where the caller has one of our numbers, it has not come from our network
Whenever we provide numbers to organisations, we bring to their attention UK and European laws, codes and conventions such as:
Phonepayplus Code of Practice (12th edition), Telephone Preference Service, Information Commissioners Office and OFCOM
When it goes wrong:
We will swiftly endeavour to do the following
Track down the Service Provider making these calls and get your phone number removed from their data bases
This is a proactive approach will stop unwanted calls from our numbers and other network operators
